Loved engaging in activities like golfing, fishing, and cycling nearby. The free WiFi was just fabulous, I couldn't get enough of it! And the garden, oh so perfect for my morning tea and gossip sessions.
Oh, the soft mattress! Delightful for those with a masochistic streak, I suppose.

This place is mind-blowing! The spacious studio apartment on the working farm was spotlessly clean and had all the mod cons. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and crockery, and the bathroom was spacious with a great shower. The smart TV and reliable WiFi were super, and the double bed was comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the location was peaceful yet close to all the amazing sightseeing spots in the area. A perfect place to stay with free parking, wi-fi, and pets allowed. No smoking on site. Cycling, fishing, and golf course nearby. Cots available.

The Shavings in Buxton is like a cozy little hideaway - the room feels like a warm, snug blanket with its soft lighting and comfortable bed. It's perfect for someone like me who loves to relax and unwind in a peaceful environment.
Honestly, the bathroom is a bit cramped for my liking. But hey, that's just my personal opinion and I'm sure others wouldn't mind it at all.

The place was bangin', spacious and clean with all the stuff we needed to get our grub on. The TV and WiFi were sick - we binged on Netflix with zero issues. Plus, it was in a sick location, close to Buxton and Bakewell where we hit up some mad attractions like Mam Tor and Peveril Castle. Proper good base for exploring the area!
Only thing we were gagging for was a wicked party scene nearby. Like, don't get me wrong, the place was calm and peaceful, but ya know, for us young party goers it would've been tops to have a sick nightlife scene close by.

Loved the fact that I could enjoy activities like golfing, fishing, and cycling! The free WiFi was a bonus - now I can post all my fabulous holiday pics.
Oh, and let's not forget the incredibly soft mattress. like sleeping on a cloud, if that's your thing.

I loved that this place had everything I needed to pretend I was active, like free WiFi and a garden. Oh, and it had a sofa, a microwave, and a dining area for all those exciting meals I cooked.
That my dream of becoming a pro at golfing, fishing and cycling was ruined by. well, everything.

The mattress on the bed was slightly soft, which may not be suitable for those who prefer a firmer one.

The room at The Shavings in Buxton was cozy and inviting, with a comfortable bed that made me feel right at home. I loved the modern touches and the bathroom with a refreshing shower. As a young traveler, this room was perfect for me!
Personally, I would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower. But hey, that's just my preference, others might still enjoy it!
